General

What is the difference between eW@LL™ MAIL and most of the current anti-spam products on the market?
eW@LL™ MAIL focuses on the sender authentication side using Sender Confirmation Technology and avoids all weaknesses of the content scanning solutions. These solutions are mainly structured through Grammar and syntax language rules and are easily passed over by smart spammers.

What is Sender Confirmation Technology?
Sender Confirmation Technology is Gennux’s patent pending technology which allows email users to authenticate the senders and domains for all received electronic mail. The confirmation process offers the user control to eliminate unwanted emails without losing legitimate messages. SCT combines different filtering techniques with a proprietary algorithm created by Gennux, in order to determine the nature of the source.

Why is eW@LL™ MAIL a proactive solution?
eSm@rt™ features enables users to have a proactive attitude towards Unsolicited Commercial Email (UCE) rather than a reactive position, which defines all anti-spam software currently available in the market today. Many Anti-Spam technologies rely on the first victim report. In other words, a UCE must have occurred in order for the Anti-Spam vendor to develop a filter for this particular message and then implement it globally.

Gennux's eW@LL™ MAIL incorporates a proactive defense system that protects organizations from any UCE 24/7. eW@LL™ MAIL also enables end users to define what an UCE is and what is desirable email.

What does eSmart™ mean?
eSm@rt™ is a feature that differentiates eW@LL™ MAIL from the other Anti-Spam offerings, by providing end users with the ability to generate disposable email addresses. eSm@rt™ disposable addresses shield the true email address identity from email harvesters who work from subscription lists, online newsletters or bulletin boards.

The intelligence within eSm@rt™ facilitates the receiving of online newsletters and any notification emails without needing to give away the user's electronic identity. It gives the end user total control over their communication, a proactive attitude, and the freedom to receive what they want - with security and privacy.

Does eW@LL™ MAIL support all foreign languages other than English?
Yes, eW@LL™ MAIL is language independent. It can support all of the languages in the global.

Will eW@LL™ MAIL read my emails? Or can other people read my email?
One of the benefits of eW@LL™ MAIL is that, unlike content filtering technologies, eW@LL™ MAIL does not need to read or analyze the contents of emails to block spam. As a result, eW@LL™ MAIL can provide a very high level of security and privacy protection.

Why I receive spam from my eSm@rt™ address?
The purpose of an eSm@rt™ address is for the user to allow specific trusted senders to contact you through the special eSm@rt™ address that you created. If you receive an unwanted message on an eSm@rt™ address, it may be because the person or institution with which you entrusted this special address, exposed the address to a third party, or spammers harvest the address from the sender.

What should I do if I receive spam from my eSm@rt™ address?
The design of eSm@rt™ addresses is to protect your original email address. eSm@r™t addresses are intended to be disposable if they are harvested by the spammers.

When receiving spam from an eSm@rt™ address, users can simply revoke the harvested address and create a new one. Using the new eSm@rt™ address instead of their true address, users can control their e-communication on the hostile internet.

Can I check who sold my eSm@rt™ address?
eSm@rt™ address will also give the recipient an indication as to who has sold their address or whether the address was in fact harvested.

For example:

An eSm@rt™ address was created and used to subscribe to an online service of a company and the eSm@rt™ address was the only address used to communicate with the company.

(The company’s policy should be that they would neither release your email address to a third party nor show your email address online.) If, however, you receive an unwanted message a week after submitting your eSm@rt address to a company, you can be assured that the company exposed your eSm@rt™ address to a third party.
